Arachna, once descended from a noble family, longed to marry royalty but her family was out of favor with the throne. Hoping to improve her status with riches, she stole gold and jewels from the temple of the gods who responded to this sacrilege with a curse. Every man who meets Arachna falls in love with her, and in that moment, her hideously cursed form is revealed causing an agonizing death for the heart she stole.
